Description

This is simple menu module, but instead of rendering text, it uses images from a folder on your server based on the ItemId. If multilingual support is enabled the module will append the current locale (like en-gb) to the image folder path.

For an example say you've set:

• Images Folder : images/menu_items/
• Image Type : PNG
• Enable multilingual support : Yes
• Enable selected : Yes
• Current locale is en-gb
• We're inspecting the menuitem with Itemid : 1

The image src path will be something like: http://your.domain.tld/images/menu_items/en-gb/1.png if it's not selected and http://your.domain.tld/images/menu_items/en-gb/1_selected.png if it were selected.

If you've not got FTP access to the server you can manage the menu items using Joomla's media manager. Please note that the folder menu_items will not be created upon installation and you'll have to create it yourself. If you want you're free to change the Images Folder parameter to whatever suites your site.
